Scottish Terrier
The metallic bookmark with a Scottish Terrier from an antique shop in Lithuania.

The Scottish Terrier, popularly called the Scottie, is a breed of dog. They are a small breed of Terrier with a distinctive shape and have had many roles in popular culture. They have been owned by a variety of celebrities, including the 43rd President of the United States George W. Bush, and are well known for being a playing piece in the board game Monopoly. Described as a territorial, feisty dog, they can make a good watchdog and tend to be very loyal to their family.

V Sign
The metallic bookmark with a V sign from a souvenir shop in Lithuania.

The V sign is a hand gesture in which the first and second fingers are raised and parted, whilst the thumb and remaining fingers are clenched. During World War II, Winston Churchill popularized its use as a "Victory" sign (for V as in victory). In the United States, it is also used to mean "Peace", a meaning that became popular during the peace movement of the 1960s.

Happy Easter!
The wooden bookmark with a cock from Lithuania.

You'd better don't look up for the meaning of the word 'cock' in Google. Weird... it's very far from the Easter theme;)
Anyway, Happy Easter!!! Do you celebrate? and how? Feel free to leave your comments in my blog.
By the way, we have decorated eggs for Easter - margučiai:
