Devon

Devon is a large county in southwestern England. Devon is the fourth largest of the English counties and has a population of 1,141,600.
Dartmoor is an area of moorland in the centre of Devon, England. Protected by National Park status, it covers 954 square kilometres (368 sq mi).
Dartmoor Pony has lived in south-western England for centuries and is used for a variety of disciplines. Because of the extreme weather conditions experienced on the moors, the Dartmoor is a particularly hardy breed with excellent stamina. Over the centuries it has been used as a working animal by local tin miners and quarry workers.
Pixies are mythical creatures of folklore, considered to be particularly concentrated in the areas around Devon and Cornwall. They are usually depicted with pointed ears, and often wearing a green outfit and pointed hat. In modern use, the term can be synonymous with fairies or sprites.

Mr. Funny is one of the characters from the Mr. Men series - children's books by Roger Hargreaves started in 1971.
Mr Funny is the funniest person in the whole of Happyland, quite the funniest you have ever seen. To start with, Mr Funny lives in a teapot that has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. What is even funnier is the fact that his car was not in fact a car, but a shoe with wheels!
All the animals and flowers that saw Mr Funny in his show-car laughed so hard, they laughed themselves in two, laughed their tails off or laughed themselves out of the ground.

HMS Victory is a first rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, started in 1759 and launched in 1765, most famous as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. She is the oldest naval ship still in commission, and now sits in dry dock in Portsmouth, England, as a museum ship.
Mary Rose was a carrack-type warship of the English Tudor navy of King Henry VIII. After serving for 33 years in several wars against France, Scotland, and Brittany, she saw her last action on 19 July 1545. The wreck of the Mary Rose was rediscovered in 1971 and salvaged in 1982 by the Mary Rose Trust in one of the most complex and expensive projects in the history of maritime archaeology. The surviving section of the ship and thousands of recovered artefacts are of immeasurable value as a Tudor-era time capsule.
HMS Warrior was the first iron-hulled, armour-plated warship, built for the Royal Navy in response to the first ironclad warship, the French La Gloire, launched a year earlier.

Anne of Cleves (1515 – 1557) was a German noblewoman and the fourth wife of Henry VIII of England and as such she was Queen of England from 6 January 1540 to 9 July 1540. The marriage was never consummated, and she was not crowned queen consort. Following the annulment of their marriage, Anne was given a generous settlement by the King, and thereafter referred to as the King's Beloved Sister.
Anne was the subject of two portraits by Hans Holbein the younger who painted her in 1539.

Lady Diana and Prince Charles

Called the "wedding of the century," the wedding of Lady Diana Frances Spencer to Charles, Prince of Wales, took place on July 29, 1981, at St. Paul's Cathedral.
There were 3,500 people in the congregation at St. Paul's Cathedral. Another 750 million people watched the ceremony worldwide; this figure rose to a billion when the radio audience is added in.

It was used as a fortification until the early 17th century, when Sir Fulke Greville converted it to a country house. Warwick Castle was opened as a tourist attraction from 1978.

David Roberts
The magnetic bookmark from England. On the bookmark the fragment of the oil painting "The Ruins of the Temple of the Sun at Baalbec" (1861) by David Roberts.
David Roberts (1796 – 1864) was a Scottish painter. He is especially known for a prolific series of detailed prints of Egypt and the Near East that he produced during the 1840s from sketches he made during long tours of the region. This work, and his large oil paintings of similar subjects, made him a prominent Orientalist painter.
David Roberts sailed for Egypt in 1838, where he spent several months sketching, writing letters and diaries, and exploring the ancient temples and tombs.
He was greatly revived by the splendour of the ruins and the richness of Baalbec temples. He spent the next few days making a number of studies of the three temples from various angles. The debris of these temples deeply inspired Roberts, who celebrated the magnificent decadence of the Hellenistic monument in numerous sketches and drawings.
